Rules
**Supervision** - Coaches must ensure players and spectators remain in designated areas; spectators watch from opposite sideline - No players, parents, or spectators allowed behind goals **Wear** - Tournament jersey (provided), black shorts, and socks required - Shin guards mandatory, socks worn over them - No jewelry allowed (medical bracelets permitted) - Standard soccer shoes or gym shoes required; no toe cleats **Not allowed** - No punting by goalkeepers - No slide tackling with contact; slide to intercept without contact allowed - No heading per USSF rules - No dogs allowed on fields **On-site conduct** - Teams check in with SYSA staff 30 minutes before first game - Games start as soon as minimum three players are present, within 10 minutes of scheduled time; forfeit if late - Teams clean up after each game; no garbage left on sidelines - Coaches responsible for behavior of players, parents, and spectators; unruly behavior may result in removal
