Museum of Pop Culture
A hands-on pop culture museum with immersive exhibits spanning music, film, gaming, and art. The museum offers family/all-gender restrooms with changing tables, sensory bags and child-sized noise-cancelling headphones on loan, wheelchair loans and accessible routes; programs include sensory-friendly days, education workshops, and group visits. - Paid · Garage · MOPOP visitors are encouraged to park in the 5th Avenue North Garage at 516 Harrison Street, the official Seattle Center parking facility for the museum; this garage offers accessible parking, oversized vehicle accommodations and easy access to MOPOP and the broader Seattle Center campus. Additional Seattle Center garages and lots are also available nearby. Drop-off available at 5th Ave N and Harrison (parking not allowed at turnaround).

Rules
* This establishment is reserved for the use of MOPOP patrons and customers only * All violations of the Seattle Municipal Code and Revised Code of Washington are prohibited * All weapons, including concealed firearms, are strictly prohibited * MOPOP strictly prohibits discrimination, harassment, and unacceptable behaviors * Unacceptable behaviors include, and are not limited to: abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning conduct or intimidation, harassing by any visitors to the museum * Harassment includes: offensive physical gestures or verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, culture, disability; socially inappropriate behavior in public spaces (including event related content); deliberate intimidation, stalking or following; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; and inappropriate physical contact * MOPOP prohibits any lewd or offensive behavior or language, using sexually explicit or offensive language or conduct, extreme profanity, obscene gestures, or racial, religious or ethnic slurs * In short, we all will be good to each other * Small bags and backpacks may be allowed in the museum * Please leave your large bags and backpacks at home * Bags larger than 20" x 13" inches must be checked in to the museum's coat check area for museum events * Non-invasive bag checks will be conducted upon entry at all MOPOP events * Containers containing liquids are not allowed in gallery spaces * Outside food and drink is prohibited * Food is not allowed in gallery spaces * Umbrellas are not allowed in galleries * Only bring what you need * Coat check is currently closed * Balloons are prohibited * Fresh plants or flowers are prohibited unless approved in writing * Costumes are allowed, provided guests abide by the following * Costumes must fit through a single doorway (less than 85.5-inches tall X 35-inches wide) * Costumes cannot include pyrotechnics, fire, smoke, steam, fog, helium balloons, etc., and are subject to MOPOP building policies * No nudity, lewd or offensive costumes * This includes gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, culture or disability * No full or partial body paint in place of clothing * Photo identification may be required for guests with face concealing paint, prosthetics, or masks * Functional weapons are strictly prohibited * Costume weapons must be inspected at the security station located at the event's entrance and must conform to state and federal law * Projectile costume weapons must be rendered inoperable * Costume swords must be tied to the costume so that they cannot be drawn * Costume weapons will be tagged with a wristband after security inspection * Individuals not willing to have their costume weapons inspected or tagged, or are not willing to comply with the above, will be asked to leave the premises * Harassment of any kind is not tolerated * For the safety of all guests and staff, MOPOP uses walk-through metal detectors at all entrances; guests who cannot pass through may be screened with a handheld wand * Photography is allowed * However, flash photography, tripods, and selfie sticks are prohibited * Sorry, no * Pets are not allowed anywhere within the complex * Service animals are permitted and should be checked in at the information desk in the lower lobby * Single strollers under 30 inches wide are permitted; tandem strollers and wagons are not allowed inside the museum.
