Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive

An art museum and film archive welcoming families with free admission for children ages 0–13. The venue features rotating exhibitions, hands-on family art-making in the Fisher Family Art Lab, an on-site cafe and museum store, and regular film and gallery programs suitable for families. Children 0–13 are frequently eligible for free admission and various discounted ticket tiers and memberships reduce costs.

Rules

* Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. * Do not touch artworks; keep at least 18 inches away. * Running is not allowed in the museum. * Open food and drink are not allowed in the galleries; feed children in the Bakar Atrium. * Sealed food and drinks must be packed inside a bag and may be consumed only in designated areas. * Diaper changing tables are available in the Lower Level restrooms. * Front-carrying baby carriers are allowed; back-carrying baby carriers are not permitted in the galleries. * Service animals (service dogs and service miniature horses) are welcome; please leave pets and emotional support animals at home. * Tripods and selfie sticks are not permitted in the galleries. * No flash photography in the galleries. * Long umbrellas and similar large items are not allowed in the galleries but can be stored at free bag check.
