National Nordic Museum

It showcases the history and culture of Nordic countries through interactive exhibits. Programs for families include a monthly preschool story session paired with a simple craft; virtual kids craft videos where children learn weaving, make paper snow stars and build a Nordic dragon for Halloween; free take-home exploration backpacks filled with discovery tools; summer camps and year-round classes for young children; and free printable scavenger-hunt guides available online or at the front desk. On-site amenities include a museum store, Freya Café (open to the public), accessibility services (wheelchair loan, magnifiers, EnChroma glasses), and a quiet/nursing room for families.
