Newcastle Library
This public library offers books, digital media and community programs for families with young children. It hosts weekly Family Story Time for newborns to age five with stories, songs and rhymes. Toddler Story Time for ages one to three features books, songs and bubbles with up to 30 minutes of play. Unstructured play events include a LEGO Block Party and Big Play Date to help children build social skills. Monthly Paper Cutting and Crafts workshops develop fine motor skills through hands-on art activities.

* Parents/guardians must supervise children at all times. * Children 12 & under should not be left alone. * Kids/teens can use all library materials — parents set limits. * Parents are responsible for lost or damaged items on kids’ cards. * Only service animals are allowed (must stay under control). * No unsafe or disruptive behavior, no weapons.
