Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History

Suggested daily admission is $10 general, $8 for seniors/students/teachers/veterans; members and children under 5 enter free. Paid · Garage · Two nearby parking garages: Soquel/Front Garage (601 Front St.) — paid hourly parking seven days a week (pay-on-foot stations; exceptions on major holidays) and River/Front Garage (Laura Rodgers Memorial Garage) — permit restrictions on upper levels; disability parking available in both garages. Enter via Abbott Square plaza or main Front St. entrance. Soquel/Front Garage also has pay-at-station/pay-on-foot options and operates seven days a week except Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. River/Front Garage has permit parking on levels 2–3.

Rules

* All children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. * Strollers are welcome in the museum, though some special exhibitions may restrict their use. * Breastfeeding and bottle-feeding are allowed throughout the museum; no dedicated nursing rooms are provided. * Child carriers are permitted only when the child is carried on the front, not on the back or shoulders. * Do not touch artworks or historical objects and maintain a safe distance from exhibits. * No eating or drinking is allowed in the galleries; sealed food and drink must be stored in bags. * Service dogs are welcome; pets are allowed only outdoors in the Secret Garden and Abbott Square and must be leashed. * Walk and do not run inside the museum; wheeled shoes and running are only permitted on outside grounds. * All bags are subject to inspection at each entrance.
