Rules
Please bow when entering the temple and enter with your left foot, and bow when exiting and leave with your right foot. During services hold your hands together in gassho and treat the o-nenju (prayer beads) with respect. When offering incense, step forward, place a small pinch in the burner, bow, then step back. No dress-code is required and you do not need to prepare anything in advance. We sit in pews, and we do not remove our shoes when we enter the temple.
