Accessibility

Parking: Free · Parking lot · Very limited free parking is available for the public in several areas, including lots at the Graham Visitors Center and the Japanese Garden. Additional nearby street parking is also available. Accessible parking is available in the Graham Visitors Center parking lot; there are many parking lots along Arboretum Drive. Arboretum Drive is closed to general public traffic but available for visitors with limited mobility.

Rules

* Service animals are welcome in both outdoor and indoor spaces. * Dogs are more than welcome at the Washington Park Arboretum as long as they are on a leash and get picked up after. * No dogs allowed in the Seattle Japanese Garden. * See the Seattle Municipal Code on Animals (http://clerk.seattle.gov/\~public/toc/9-25.htm) for more information. * Bicycles are only to be ridden on paved surfaces, per the City Parks 1995 Bicycle Use Policy (/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2015/03/CityParks\_Bicycle20Use.pdf). * Bicycles may be walked from the Wilcox Bridge to the Graham Visitor Center. * Removal of plant matter is strictly prohibited (SMC 18.12.070 (https://www.municode.com/library/wa/seattle/codes/municipal\_code?nodeId\=TIT18PARE\_CH18.12PACO\&showChanges\=true)). * Private Tour Buses and Motor Coaches are not allowed in the Arboretum. * For senior groups and those with mobility issues, we do allow mini-buses only to drive along Arboretum Drive with 7 days advance notice. * Cycling in the Arb: In the Arboretum, cyclists are welcome only on the new Loop Trail and other paved paths. * Please observe the 10 mph speed limit and yield to pedestrians. * Please drive very slowly and be aware of pedestrians, bicyclists, and maintenance vehicles.
