Redmond Senior & Community Center

A multi-generational community center with dedicated spaces for fitness, recreation and families. Amenities include a supervised Kid Zone for children ages 3-12, a gymnasium with courts for basketball, pickleball, and volleyball, group exercise rooms, a fitness zone with exercise equipment and locker rooms, a library, and rotating art gallery. The facility offers passes and program registration for many year-round activities.

Rules

* Ages 3 - 12. All children must be potty-trained. * Charge is per child for up to a two-hour block. One visit per day per child. * A parent/guardian must be in the facility the entire time a child is checked into the Kids Zone. The Kids Zone is not a licensed childcare facility. * No food or drink is allowed in the Kids Zone (water bottles are allowed). * No personal items (toys, tablets/screens, games, etc.) are allowed in the Kids Zone unless previously discussed with the program director under special circumstances. * First-come, first-served with a maximum of 10 children in the Kids Zone at a time. No reservations allowed. * All children being dropped off should be fed, dry, and properly dressed. * Upon arrival, parents/guardians must check in at the front desk before going to the Kids Zone. * Parents/guardians must share where they will be in the facility during their visit. They must have their cell phone ready and available. Staff may call or locate you if: your child has been crying for more than 15 minutes; your child shows symptoms of illness or injury; your child fails to follow rules or directions given by staff; your child injures another child or staff member or exhibits aggressive behavior. * If a parent/guardian is late for pickup, a warning with no fee will be given for the first incident. For the second incident, after a 10-minute grace period, $5 will be charged. $5 will then be charged for each additional 5-minute period the parent/guardian is late. * The Redmond Senior & Community Center reserves the right to refuse entry of sick children to the Kids Zone. * Keep your child at home if they have any of the following: Fever over 99 degrees in the past 24 hours; Diarrhea or vomiting in the past 24 hours; Pink eye or inflammation or drainage from the eye area; Croup; Persistent, frequent cough; Sore throat; Rash or skin infection of any kind; Runny nose with green discharge; Unexplained lethargy.
