Carkeek Park
A large, 216-acre urban park with forested ravines, meadows, and Puget Sound beach access. Amenities include walking trails, picnic areas and shelters, demonstration gardens and an orchard, a play area, drinking fountains, and hand-carry boat access to the shoreline. The park supports salmon habitat and offers scenic viewpoints and volunteer-led nature programs.

Rules
* Small boat launch is not available from the park, and beach access is restricted to boats arriving by water only. * You may hand carry a boat onto the stretch of beach from the pedestrian bridge south for 300 feet. * The Park's education buildings are closed to the public.
