Rules

* Children 12 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times. * Strollers are permitted but must be kept close, out of main pathways, and must not block emergency exits or fire lanes. * Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the Terrace Restaurant or Academy Café; use designated East and West Garden seating for outside food. * Diaper changes are only permitted on restroom changing tables. * Prolonged sleeping or lying down on floors, benches, or exhibition spaces is not permitted. * Strollers are allowed throughout the museum except at the earthquake simulator, where short-term stroller parking is provided. * Bicycles, tricycles, skateboards, and scooters are not permitted inside the Academy. * All food and drink must be consumed in the Academy Café or outdoors (not in exhibits). * Children under 4 are not permitted in the planetarium dome. * Planetarium shows may not be appropriate for children under 7. * If you plan to leave and return the same day, obtain a hand stamp before exiting for re-entry.
